“Renard was recommended to us by a friend who had previously photographed weddings. Their was a choice of 3 recommend photographers and the minute my husband and I looked at his website I knew I wanted him to photograph our wedding! When we met with him his calming nature and excitement for photography was apparent. He was also extremely artistic in his photos.

“What can I say about Renard, an incredible photographer who managed to capture every intimate moment during our special day. He made sure everyone was comfortable and in their places. We spoke before the wedding about which shots I wanted the most, and in addition to those, he was able to think on the fly and create some really spectacular images that were unique and really showed the love surrounding us. Even though it rained on our wedding day, Renard was able to come up with creative indoor images for us and our families.

He kept things moving smoothly and was able to manage 2 very large families, a 14 person wedding party and 4 small, fussy yet surprisingly energetic kids! “We are both so happy that we chose Renard to photograph our wedding. As we all know after a wedding, the photos and memories are the only things left. We wanted to make sure we had a talented photographer and someone that could really capture the moment. Little did we know at the time of contracting him, he would bring all that and a great personality. He truly was great to work with.

We were sold when we saw his portfolio online. We had a great time doing an engagement session before the wedding and really got to know him. Any worry we may have had was gone after that session. He is a student of photography. You see this along with his creative use of lighting in every photo. He had a very quick turn around with the photos which pleased us all. I’m pretty sure he created some signature photos at the venue that other photographers will now copy in the future.

All and all we highly recommend Renard. If his portfolios don’t have you sold, just meet him in person. You will want to do business with him.

“Working with Renard for our wedding and engagement shoots was a blast. He has a relaxed and disarming demeanor that really made us feel comfortable every step of the way. Honestly we really didn’t have to think about much, other than the end when he asked us to edit down a final shot list.

The engagement shoot was fun and playful – the way it should be. He made an effort to seriously research the wedding venue, so our time onsite was well-spent. On the big day, he was calm under pressure, juggling various friends and family members – and had no trouble catching all the right moments. Not to mention he had to shoot the entire ceremony pretty much straight into a bright 6pm summer sun. How he pulled some of those off I’ll never know!

His creativity and imagination really lit up for our post-ceremony romantic nature shoot. I would definitely recommend him – seriously that rare combination of creativity, poise and energy!
