Jenna & Jimmy Wedding

Wedding Photographs tell stories of the greatest day of a couple’s life; the beginning of a new life together as husband and wife celebrated with friends and family. A wedding photographer has the honor of capturing the moments which the couple will treasure for the rest of their lives. It’s more than just clicking away with a camera. It’s being a part of the magic, behind the scenes, at the precise moments; it’s noticing all of the beautiful details, smiles, and tears, and capturing it all for the couple to treasure always.

To say this wedding was a blast to shoot is an understatement. Thank you, Jimmy and Jenna, for selecting me to capture your big day. I truly am honored and grateful to have been a part of it. And, thank you to my second shooter, Heather, for your excellent photo skills and talent. One more shout out to the great videographers that we worked with: Michael and Daniel from Focused Bliss.

I also had the pleasure of shooting Jenna and Jimmy’s engagement photos last fall, which allowed me to get to know them a little before their wedding. I feel very lucky for this, as they are both great people and have awesome personalities. It definitely makes my job a bit easier when I get to work with such great individuals!

The photos below relay the story of Jenna and Jimmy’s wedding. This post will be followed by a slideshow. For now you can relive this event through these photos.

Note: You may recognize Jimmy from the youtube video “cat friend vs dog friend”. If you haven’t seen this yet, be sure to check it out, it’s hilarious. Jimmy’s company, fatawesome, created the video which went viral in 2012.

This 70’s theme b-day party is a late post from me as it was taken last year 09.27.2012. Michael coordinated this theme party in secret to surprise his wife 70th celebration. Everything is well thought out to fit the theme. They asked me to set up some kind of photo-booth station on the corner so I had to shoot the event as well as occasional running to the corner to shoot. I had a ton of fun documenting this party and I hope you guys enjoy it too 🙂

Hooray! My packaging arrives! :)

Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on my new USB packaging! I hope you guys like it! I usually deliver about 500-700 post processed shots in this baby. I give my clients full personal rights to print and reproduce their photos.

Bella Bella Bella

I know that I haven’t keeping up with this blog lately. The past couple of weeks I have been busy with taxes and backing up my files. I’ve officially registered my business two days ago, Wednesday, February 27th and currently gearing up to shoot wedding three weeks from now. I hope that this post will help cure the itch before then. I put my beloved pug, Bella, on my couch with window wide open and I over-exposed the background while keeping her face in tact. Even yawning she is by far the cutest pug I’ve seen (sorry pug owners lol).

MIT Glass Lab Photoshoot

On December 11, 2012 I was asked by Weymouth Design, Inc. to shoot a glass blowing class at MIT for their promotional content on their website. This is a voluntary class at MIT and is one of the most sought-after classes at the university. In fact, hundreds of students have to enter a lottery and only around 24 students are allowed to participate. I used two flash units for the shots in the hot furnace room, triggering them with a Pocket Wizard Flex TT5. For the lottery event that night I didn’t use a flash. I’d never been more thankful for the equipment warranty that I purchased in case anything had gone haywire in this photoshoot. Here are some of my favorites.
